Day 101

Pre 9pm update. Heck yes.

Background: I think I mentioned that I'm writing down a story...I broke 20,000 words today! Woohoo! I discovered that I can't just look at a computer screen and type out my ideas. I have to have them written down first, then type them up. That's where this notebook comes in. I think I bought an extra notebook somewhere between semesters, and I started writing in this one. I've had other places to write in before this notebook, but however I started my story in all of those, I didn't like how it was turning out. Once I sat down with this one, though, I figured it out. Right now I'm almost 30 pages into the notebook itself, counting a half of a chapter's worth that I got rid of - and it turns out to 29 pages in Open Office, single spaced. As long as it is now, the story's only just beginning, too. I've got a long way to go. And, to be perfectly honest, I'm not even sure where I'm going to steer it.
