Day 225-7

Well it's not a 11:59pm update, alright?...

Sunday was very dull. Monday almost as much, except I helped someone move some stuff. Tuesday was busier in comparison, since I actually had class. So in return, I give you a few more D*C 2011 pictures, and a 117 that I found! The paper I had to write for today had lots of reference material, and one of them had a page 117. So I had to take an obligatory picture of it.















Yeah. I uploaded them all at once for a change. It turned out kind of...off. But I'm okay with that - it reflects my personality. Speaking of which, HvZ is next week. If you're playing, you should be pumped. If you're not, then you either aren't at my school or are someone I will reject as a friend.

Day 213, 214

I lied to you! I owe you two pictures today. So here they are!

So, the first one is this interesting license plate. I'm surprised I was able to get a picture of it...since the owner is a NINJA! I think there must be at least three ninjas in this picture, but I can't find them. It's been parked in one of the parking lots since band camp, along with another car that has the plate "Mythril".

There are some real nerds here, and I fit in perfectly. I don't know if I'd get a license plate like that, but I was thinking of a nyanvan....

Secondly, there was this. I was on my way back from a bookstore and saw these. Lots of butterflies were flittering around them, and I managed to get one or two shots of them. I know that I'll probably kick myself for forgetting the name of the flowers, but I'm sure my local flower nomenclature expert will help me on that, right?

I also discovered today that the bookstore I went to doesn't take student ID. So I had to go to the campus bookstore to grab some books. That sucked.

Otherwise, good day so far. One of my classes got me actually excited for my major - not something I was really expecting.

Day One Seventy NYAN

Background: On a whim, I downloaded one hour's worth of nyancat singing. Yes, one hour. Then I burned a CD. If I ever take a solo road trip somewhere, this baby is getting popped in. I've already Nyan'd my part of Georgia three separate days. Why, you may ask? I have no idea. That's the beauty of it! Driving down the road to nyancat with the windows down and the music up? Fantastic experience. The only thing that could make this better was if I had a large van and painted it up like nyancat. And if I ever have an extraordinary amount of money and time, then that just might happen. It just might.

Day 157

Background: Did you see the video from yesterday? If you didn't, that's fine. If you still don't watch it, that's cool too. This is another picture from it. Since I'm not exactly sure where my camera is at the moment, I might use another picture from the video tomorrow if nothing exciting happens. Which, knowing my life, it won't! hohoho

Anyway, work went as normal today, played some video games, went to WaHo, etc etc. Exciting times. The best days of my life. Aww yeah.

Day 155

Yowsa

Background: I swear the light was red when I took this picture, okay? I'm a good driver. Anyway, I've been editing pictures for a good two or three hours now, and this is one of them. The unedited one looks loads worse, and I don't know why I don't edit more pictures. I mean, some of these are turning out great for what I'm doing! If things go well, what I'm doing will reveal itself in the early morning hours. If not, then it'll be sometime tomorrow afternoon.

As for today, I moved about 4,000 pounds worth of rocks. 67 of them that weigh about 30 pounds each. I would move some into the four wheeler we have, drive around, and unload them. So I'd pick them up twice (all while trying to avoid some poison oak/ivy). So multiply those all out (67*30*2) and you get over 4,000 pounds of rock moved. The after shower was really nice, believe me.

Day 132

Oh dear

Background: There are four or five of these plants, huge things, sitting outside my bedroom window, a floor down. They make for some great pictures, in my opinion. Unfortunately you'll have to listen to my opinion if you want to actually read through all this blog. Man, do I feel sorry for you.

Long day otherwise - I had to walk half a mile to buy three containers of oil for the car. It was completely out, and my oil light flashed on really quick as I was getting off at an exit. I was also in jeans in the hot, humid weather. Exciting times!...

Background: I got this book back from my sister-in-law. She had been bugging me to lend it to her, and now she returned it. I had just finished reading the sixth one (this is the seventh) in my rereading of the series. I picked it up at sometime around 2pm, maybe a little later. And I read. All day. Until nearly two in the morning. I wanted to finish it, okay? At least I took a break to write the day's post! I didn't take a break from conquering an entire solar system to write this; I finished my conquest first. Their ships needed to explode, it's not my fault!

Well then.

Picture: My room is a mess

Background: I love the feeling of realizing that I haven't gotten a picture of the day at 11:30pm. Not shown: big red bag of pants/socks, mini TV, box of books, box of N64 stuff. I really need to clean, but I have had very little motivation since coming home. My desk isn't even cleaned off for my laptop. I'm THAT lazy.

Interesting day otherwise, though. After church, I went to O'Charley's with my mom (since it IS Mother's Day, after all). Trying to start the van afterward? DEAD BATTERY! So my dad came and jumped us, and we grabbed a new one. We called him, got jumped, and installed the new battery all in under an hour. Heck yeah.

I can explain!...Actually, I probably can't. I was just hanging out all day with a friend.

Background: Aww yeah. Dad actually picked this up at the car dealership near us a month or two ago. We stuck it on the front of the awesome PT Cruiser when we got home. It's a slap in the face of all the logos of that other school that are much more permeated throughout the region. That's all I have to say, otherwise I might get a war going in the comments section.
