Day 358, 359, 360

Hey there! I'm saving up something for Tuesday's post, so bare with me. (no, really, I need good pictures *cough*)

So last weekend I was in Savannah. Hurrah!

GT Hockey won the Thrasher's Cup, and have now won exactly half of them that have taken place. Final win over the Dwags was 9-5 (it was intense). Got to play drums and hang out with awesome people. Fairly great weekend, if you ask me.
Not much else has happened since. DND was Monday night, where we got to beat up an ex-player and send him to prison for arson. Trying to finish this post so I can get laundry done, get the actual Jan 17th post done, and get working on Calc III homework that needs to get done.

Blargh!

Day 357

Woo!

Okay, bare with me with the picture. I'm in Savannah, and this is some building across the river from the hotel. I tried to get a picture of it but someone bumped the railing and it turned out cool anyway.

Hours of driving were fun. Hours of work beforehand were fun. That's mostly been my day.

No video, no fun letter. Just a simple post. Sorry.

Day 295

My sleep schedule is messed up

Picture: Deodorant

Background: This was a "request" for today's picture. Some people at the gaming marathon asked me to take this picture. There's a bunch of people (around 40-50 or more) playing games for charity in one of the school buildings. I'm going to go back there after a hockey game for another 8 hours or so of gaming. It's a total of 40 hours of gaming being done, so I knew I wasn't going to be there for the whole thing. I do know someone who is, and I wish him luck.

So yeah. Hockey, gaming, sleep. Dunno if I'll get a chance to update tomorrow just because of sleep. We'll see.

Day 78

VIDEO GAMEZ ALL DAY. They made me late.

Picture: Hockey!

Background: Last night me and five other guys in the dorm all went to go see a Thrashers' game. Hockey is awesome, but the Thrashers really sucked last night. 6-1, and the one goal they got was within the last minute of the game. But at least they got the goal! -sigh- It was still pretty fun, and we got the seats and free popcorn/drink for only $7. Hurrah!

today's video is one of my favorite music videos of all time...

Day 64

gogogogogo started this post at 11:42pm

Picture: Baseball (and some hockey)!

Background: I used to play Little League back before high school. I wasn't very good but I really liked to play. I got a couple trophies and things while I was there as you can see, as well as one or two gameballs. One of those (the one on the chair like thing behind the nesting doll of Chipper Jones) is the only home run I've ever hit. I was really, really happy when that happened. It really didn't even feel like a homerun...then it went over the fence. Pretty good day, I'd say.

It's storming outside. Lots of lightning, lots of weather warnings. Just came back from more hanging out. I forgot to mention this yesterday (because I was trying to post at 1:17am but missed) that I almost ran over two kids. It was dark, they were wearing dark clothes, and they weren't white, so they were honestly hard to see. I was pulling out of a turn lane at a light more worried about potential oncoming traffic; I was completely not suspecting some people could be so idiotic enough to cross that far from the crosswalk in dark clothes and not have a close call. It pissed me off - I could've gotten at least 30-40 points! Ah well.

today's video is a hilarious mash-up...

Day 61

Oh, forgot to mention that I saw a deer on my way home last night. It wasn't really scary since I saw it and it never jumped out in front of my car (it ran away). But still.

Picture: N64 wallet

Background: Whoa. How old can this thing be? A couple years ago I had a yard sale of a bunch of stuff laying around the house that was going to get thrown away otherwise. This was something that was thrown into the mix of bags and wallets that we had. I saw it as we put everything out and knew that I had to keep it. I mean, it's an N64 wallet! I can't resist that. The velcro is coming off of it, and that's making me sad. I intend to get the velcro re-sewn onto it so that I can keep using it. It'll be a long while before I let this thing go. It's too much awesome to let go of.

Day 32

nomnomnom

Picture: The MARC (according to the campus map)

Background: Oh, did I mention? I was the OZ! I got to eat innocent players who dared trust me. Muahaha! So I had the perfect liberty to take whatever pictures I wanted. So I stuck around the Student Center and took a couple pictures, including this one near one of the wide open walkways. I really like how this one turned out. I took some more of the flowers you can see right there, but I don't think they came out that well. I also took this picture two days ago, and I'm using it now because I have not had the time to take a picture all day. I got up, had breakfast with a couple zombiez, had some classes, more zombie time, more classes/a lab, lots more zombie time, and now. Carrying around the point and shoot camera really hinders your ability to run after humans.

The first mission of the day didn't turn out too well for me. Got stunned twice and the group didn't get any humans that I know of. Later I drew a little bit of blood (my own, promise) diving after a player (who happened to break the rules and will probably be zombified later) who got away. Then the night mission was horribly outnumbered on the zombie side, but we still got plenty of kills. Two from the rushes (marshmallows EVERYWHERE) and several more after everybody went home when the mission ended.

I also door dived a guy who should've thrown a sock when he was within that 5 foot range and didn't, and got two more by sneaking up on them. But the humans are smarter this time around, and they're organizing more...it's irksome. However, you all get two videos today because you read through that wall of text!

today's video is an awesome hockey shot...that was an attempt at a similar shot...

Day 15

Ahhhhhhhh stuff to do and procrastination. Not a good combo.

Picture: ಠ_ಠ

Background: In Humans versus Zombiez, we all got bandannas that would show if we were humans or zombies. If you wore it on your arm/leg, then you were human. If you wore it around your head, you were a zombie. I didn't get turned into a zombie until the finale (a whole week of paranoia!). I decorated mine with this on one side for when I got turned, and I put a personal quote on the other side: "Keep your socks close and your zombiez far". You basically "stun" zombies with socks or marshmallows. It was a blast to play, and there's another week of playing coming up in about two weeks. I'm pumped!

Going to a hockey game today! Leaving my dorm room at ~8:30 to meet up with a bunch of people to go. Can't wait.
