Day 230-240

TEN PICTURES GO

Okay, so here's the deal. Humans versus zombies was all last week, so I didn't get much done in terms of pictures, but I should have enough pictures from the week/other things to put up here. I don't feel like having to explain each one, but I just might.

First, we have zombies! I got tagged on Tuesday (bummmmmmer) but that let me go hang out with the cool kids for the rest of the game. This was before our escort mission on what I believe is Wednesday. I recognize four of the people in this picture. Probably should put this on FB.

BEWARE OF ZOMBIES. At the sign in mission on Thursday. I banged my knee really, really hard at that mission. I had to go to the student health center afterward because I could barely walk. When I got there, though, I felt fine. It was fantastic. I'm feeling better now, so don't fret too much.

We dominated that mission, and nommed a few humans as well.

These two are right next to each other on the Thursday or Friday night mission. Usually my pictures in darkness turn out bad, but I was on some steps, so I could actually have my camera perfectly still. I set the exposure pretty high, and this is what came out of it. Probably my best night pictures, right here, but I'm not too keen on the yellow light. I feel like there's a setting somewhere on my camera that could fix it, but I have yet to actively look for it.

Now, there's this. It was branching off of a weird growth on a tree during one of the afternoon missions, near the President's office. There were two of these trees, and the other had nothing like this going on.

My guess?

Biological experiment by some Tech student.

...it was weird

Now, ZOMBIE FINAL GROUP! This wasn't nearly as many as we actually had, from the looks of it. More came out later, I think. We had probably 100 or so zombies show up/be active during the final day. It was intense.

...oh Jevone, you so crazy

This would be one of the OZs making the final speech before the finale began. Yeah, there were two. I totally would've survived if they weren't so thorough about the whole "let's kill all the vet players" deal. Jerks.

...I still don't like you, Anthony. You and your Google+ shirt.

Just a snake and a laser printed player card. Both were things I didn't think I'd get to see during the game (I totally wanted to tag the guy with the laser printed card. SO damn awesome).

So yeah, asdgjasfblawr the picture of the Portal cake didn't turn out how I wanted it too, since it became a little fuzzy. But I still wanted a picture of it. So here it is! Baked by two of the readers who were getting on me for not updating.

HAPPY?!

Finally, we have the Horde. The picture still underestimates the true size of it nearing the end of the finale. The best part about the day was having everyone in a single quad, and two humans coming up stairs into sight. The entirety of the Horde charged out after them, which made me laugh pretty hard. It's a shame I didn't get a video of it, it was too awesome.

Day 169

giggity!

Picture: it's a wabbit!

Background: At DND, this little fellow was spotted by one of the people in our group. Apparently he eats the stuff in my brother's garden. So I took out my camera and tried to get a few good shots of him. This was the only one that turned out even halfway decent, though. Other than that it's been an okay day overall. I have to get up in about seven hours, though, to take care of three little ones, so I can't say anything about tomorrow.

today's video is about a lonely park bench...

Day 143

Woof woof.

Picture: That dog again! (from two days ago)

Background: Mostly because nothing of major note happened today. Apparently there was a debate on TV, but I missed it because of work. And I probably would have missed it anyway because debates and politics don't have any interest to me. I probably should care about politics and the presidential race and those things, but my personal opinion is that once they're in office, they're going to get bought by groups to where it's those groups controlling it all. But it's nice that they at least put on the air of free elections for us.

...please don't start a political debate in comments, all three of you who read this :(

today's video is about stick figures on drugs...

Day 141

Rawr!

Picture: Doggie!

Background: My Dad's deck is looking very nice with the new wood and all. So the neighbor's dog decided to drop by and have a look. It's weird to see him here, though, since our neighbor lives so far back behind us. He came up on the deck once or twice and I got some good pictures of him. His name is Jack, according to our neighbor who walked all the way to pick him up. I suspect that Jack wanted to get inside because it started raining hard about twenty minutes after the neighbor carried him off. It's probably still raining hard, but I can't hear it over listening to today's video. Over and over again.

Don't ask me what kind he is. I don't know anything about dogs, so I couldn't tell you, and I didn't ask the neighbor because I didn't really care. To dog lovers out there, I don't intend any offense. At least, none that I'll outright say.

Day 120

Four months in! One third of the way through! I can do this, hopefully.

Picture: Mr. Hawk

Background: This fella lives in our backyard. He often sits on the deck, since my dad sets out meat and fat that we don't eat for him to munch on. He's had a family or two, and we can usually see his nest in one of the large trees in the back yard. Today he was getting dive-bombed by angry blue jays while I was taking pictures, but I still managed to get some good ones. The bad part is that I had to take them through a dirty window, so the quality could stand to be better on the six good ones that came out (out of the 15 I took before he flew off). Irregardless, I'm happy with this one.

I was actually thinking over what could be today's picture as I pulled into the garage. I thought I had an idea, but then I walked inside my house and saw him perched there. Thankfully he didn't fly off when I turned on the camera!

today's video is awesome science...

Edit: Ah, and before I forget, it looks like we all lived through the rapture. I'm not surprised to still be around, how about you guys?

Day 109

Oh yeahhhhhh!

Picture: Horse!

Background: When I was taking yesterday's picture, there was a horse. Just standing there. So, meaning to get one or five horse pictures from the ones across the street from where I live, I figured this was the next best thing. It works for today's picture, no? Neigh, you say?! Then you're a horse.

I pretty much read all day today. Seriously. I've been reading since I got up at 2 o'clock, and it's 10:30 now. Jeez!

today's video is also about a horse...
